Abe McSpadden completed his bachelor of arts in English and bachelor of science in Psychology at the College of William & Mary. He received his master’s of education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Georgia in May 2020, which he completed on a fellowship in health equity and social determinants of health. He has worked in community and private practice settings and provided a wide variety of counseling services including inpatient crisis counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, and individual counseling. Abe currently offers individual and couples talk therapy services. He resources a systemic and feminist theoretical orientation. This means that he emphasizes an equal and empowered counseling relationship. Abe often employs mindfulness-based, ecotherapeutic, experiential, and motivational interviewing therapeutic techniques.
